Charities

Soon after we started our monthly tournaments, we decided to use our volleyball community as a means of drawing support for local charities. As a result, every month we choose a local charity and raise funds for its cause. We even strive to keep registration fees as low as possible to help participants donate to these organizations.

Below are the upcoming tournament’s charity as well as all the past charities we have supported:

2016 :

June’s ABC (Anything But Clothes)Tournament: Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County is a part of the global organization that constructs, rehabilitates, and preserves homes to help eliminate substandard housing, build upon and strengthen the local community, and help provide adequate living for those in need.

May’s Cinco De Mayo Tournament: Gulfport Neighbors

Gulfport Neighbors is dedicated to the betterment and beautification of the Gulfport neighborhoods. It brings the community together behind causes like beach cleanups, free bike registrations, food drives, and more.

April’s Hawaiian Luau Tournament: Purple Dot Yoga

Purple Dot Yoga uses yoga to empower victims of domestic violence and relationship abuse and help them regain their inner strength. It provides one-on-one and group sessions to victims of domestic violence, and collaborates with local businesses and studios to provide yoga and raise awareness.

February’s Love is in the Air Tournament: Sonia Plotnick Health Fund

Sonia Plotnick Health Fund promotes the wellness of women in Tampa Bay by providing health care education and financial assistance for traditional and non-traditional health care services.
